You like prawns? Then you’re going to like this spicy salad for sure. Seafood is not only really tasty, it is also full of high quality protein, vitamins and minerals. Get your fair share of this salad now.

Recipe: Curry Prawn Salad

Ingredients

  • 400 grams prawns, fresh or frozenRecipe: Curry Prawn Salad
  • 100g cream cheese (low fat)
  • 1 cucumber
  • 200 grams carrots
  • a handful of alfalfa sprouts
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 Tsp olive oil
  • curry, salt and pepper
  • vinegar
  • dill

Cooking Directions

  1. Wash the vegetables (e.g. carrots and cucumber) and cut them into stripes.
  2. Wash the prawns (they need to be thawed at least or fresh from the beginning)
  3. Peel the garlic clove and chop it into fine pieces.
  4. Put the cream cheese in a small bowl. Add your favourite condiments (salt, pepper, curry), a little bit of vinegar and olive oil and finally the chopped garlic and some dill to it. Mix it well.
  5. Add your prawns to the cream cheese dressing. Lastly, add the vegetables. Mix it well again.
  6. Enjoy your Curry Prawn Salad!

Notes & Recommendations

  • Tip 1: If you want to, you can roast your prawns with some garlic in a pan, before adding them to the salad.
