Take a look at the recipe picture and guess the ingredients. Do you really think that we’ve used real rice for this dish? Nope – of course, it won’t taste exactly like rice, but it is most certainly delicious and nutritious. And most of all: It will make you sated (because of the big food volume).

A perfect rice substitution for athletes on a cutting diet.

  • Preparation Time: 5-10 minutes
  • Cooking/Baking Time: 20 minutes
  • Ready in: 25-30 minutes

Recipe: Low Carb Fake Rice

Ingredients (2 portions)

  • 750g cauliflowerRecipe: Low Carb Fake Rice
  • 20g coconut oil (Coconpure)
  • 3 eggs
  • spices and seasonings to your liking (salt, pepper, curry…)

Cooking Directions

  1. First, you need to cook the cauliflower (to defrost it, if necessary).
  2. Use your hand blender or food processor to mash the cauliflower afterwards.
  3. Add some coconut oil to the pan and add the “cauliflower rice”. Cook it until it gets slightly brown and then – crack some eggs and pour them in.
  4. Mix the fake rice and add your favourite spices. Let it cook for another 10 minutes on low heat.
  5. Low Carb Fake Rice.
