Earned yourself a nice treat? You like chocolate and you like mousse even more? Then this dessert will be a perfect match and a real highlight for you.

Recipe: Protein Chocolate Mousse


  • 100 ml skim milk or almond milk
  • 200 grams greek yoghurt or quark (low fat)
  • 3 egg whites
  • 20ml water
  • FlavDrops in “Chocolate”
  • 10 grams cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp Agar Agar
  • 15 grams dark chocolate (+ 85% cacao)
  • sweetner (if you want to…)

Cooking Directions

  1. Start with heating the milk in a boiling pot. Add the FlavDrops, cocoa powder and dark chocolate, while keeping stirring.
  2. Crack the eggs and separate them from the yolks.
  3. Take bowl and add 20ml of water. Dissolve the Agar Agar in it (it should dissolve completely!).
  4. Pour the dissolved Agar Agar to the heated milk and take the pot off the stove.
  5. Mix the greek yoghurt / quark with the (cooled down, but still warm) milk.
  6. Place it for about 10 minutes in the fridge.
  7. Once the mixture got more solid, it is time to fold in the egg whites (don’t stir!)
  8. Add the mix to a cream whipper and place it for another 40 minutes in the fridge.
  9. Now you can dispense the mousse to your liking. Enjoy your Protein Chocolate Mousse!

Notes & Recommendations

  • Note 1: The mousse on the left side was served with 10 grams roasted almonds (pan without oil).
  • Note 2: The mousse in the middle was served with 100 grams of low fat yoghurt and 50 grams raspberries with sweetner.
  • Note 3: The mousse on the right side was served with 10 grams roasted coconut flakes (pan without oil).
