These tiny little courgette bits are fast and easy to prepare and they serve as a perfect snack, when hunger crawls in – especially on a low carb diet. Of course, it won’t taste like fresh pizza but you can give it a try. 😉

  • Preparation Time: 2-5 minutes
  • Cooking/Baking Time: 10 minutes
  • Ready in: 15 minutes

Recipe: Courgette Bits

Ingredients

  • 1 small or middle-sized courgette
  • 50 grams ham
  • 50 grams cheese (low fat)
  • some Light-Ketchup
  • salt & other spices

Cooking Directions

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 160 °C (320 °F)
  2. Cut the courgette into round slices and place them on a plate.
  3. Add some light ketchup on half of the slices and spice them up with your favourite condiments.
  4. Place the sliced ham and cheese on the other half courgette slices.
  5. Now place them in the oven and bake them for about 10-15 minutes, (You can make a courgette sandwich if you want to!)
  6. Enjoy your Courette Bits!

Notes & Recommendations

  • Tip 1: Use orgenao or pepper as a spice.
  • Tip 2: Use potatoes instead of courgettes if you don’t have to watch the carbs!
