The Chia Ice Pudding is a nice and delicious, low calorie, low carb dessert and snack for hot summer days. For this recipe we’re going to use fresh or frozen berries which are packed with vitamins and micronutrients.

You can bet that this recipe is suitable for every meal plan, since one portion has only about 90 Calories.

Recipe: Chia Ice Pudding


  • 10 grams chia seedsRecipe: Chia Ice Pudding
  • ~200 ml water
  • 100 grams frozen berries (.e.g raspberriey, strawberries etc.)
  • some sweetner or FlavDrops

Cooking Directions

  1. First, you need to put the chia seeds into a bowl with water and some sweetner. These seeds need to be stored for several hours (at least an hour) in the fridge, so that they can take up enough water. Our recommendation: Store them overnight in the fridge.
  2. After several hours you should have some chia “gel”.
  3. Let the berries thaw a little bit (or microwave them for 20 seconds), so that you can mash them with a fork.
  4. Add the berries over the chia gel. If you want to, you can add some nice topping like coconut flakes, nuts, peanut butter and so on.
  5. Mix the chia gel with the berries well before digging in!
  6. Enjoy your Chia Ice Pudding!
