Granted, it may sound a little bit exotic in the first place, but if you’re like us (means: you’re a pancake lover!), then you should give this recipe a go. Feel free to add some fresh fruit or berries, syrup or cottages cheese to enhance flavor.

These pancakes are also suitable for vegetarians.

  • Preparation Time: 5-10 minutes
  • Cooking/Baking Time: 3-5 minutes per Pancake
  • Ready in: 25 minutes

Ingredients

Cooking Directions

  1. Blend all ingredients, except the coconut oil, in a bowl with your hand blender (or food processor). You should get a batter, that is suitable for making pancakes. If it gets to thick, just add a little bit of water (watch out: not too much!). If it gets to watery, just add some more protein powder.
  2. Pre-heat the pan and add the coconut oil. Pour in a little bit of the batter.
  3. Flip the pancake, once the first side is done.
  4. Do it again, until all batter is gone!
  5. Enjoy your Chickpea Pancakes!
