Spelt is a really delicious and healthy alternative to common pasta. Its rich in fiber and protein (12 grams protein per 100 gram)

Recipe: Italian Spelt with Fried Chicken Breast


  • 300 grams chicken breastRecipe: Italian Spelt with Fried Chicken Breast
  • 125 grams spelt (dinkel wheat)
  • 250 grams cherry tomatoes
  • salt, pepper
  • basil
  • cayenne pepper

Cooking Directions

  1. Start with cooking the spelt according to instructions on the package.
  2. Wash the tomatoes and cut them into small pieces.
  3. Fry the tomatoes and season them with salt, pepper and cayenne pepper.
  4. Put the cooked spelt on a plate, together with the tomatoes.
  5. Spice the chicken breast and fry it in the pan.
  6. Serve it together with the spelt and tomatoes on the plate. Add some basil.
  7. Enjoy your Italian Spelt with Fried chicken Breast.
